Police have nabbed the man they say stole an NYPD squad car in the Bronx.

It happened early Sunday morning on Kingsbridge Avenue near 236th Street in Kingsbridge.

Police say Rubin Fernandez, 31, of Manhattan stole the unlocked police cruiser from a parking lot, then drove the car to Sedgwick Avenue near Fordham Road before hitting four parked cars.

Police say he then got into a black Lincoln town car before heading westbound on Fordham Road.

Fernandez faces a list of charges including grand larceny in the third degree, reckless endangerment, and criminal mischief.
