Police are investigating after a woman was killed and two young children were injured in a head-on collision in the Bronx Saturday.

Cops say it happened around 7:50 Saturday night in Woodlawn Heights.

58-year-old Elizabeth Wimmer was killed after police say a Honda CRV crashed into her car near Webster Avenue and East 233rd Street.

A 5-year-old and 10-year-old in the backseat of her car were taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Investigators say the Honda was traveling northbound on Webster Avenue when it crossed a double yellow line into oncoming traffic and crashed into the Wimmer's car.

The driver of the Honda was listed in stable condition at Jacobi Hospital.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
