A Bronx man has been arrested after being caught with hundreds of forged New York State inspection stickers.

Queens District Attorney Richard Brown says Luis Cabral, 34, was arrested Tuesday at John F. Kennedy Airport with more than 900 fake 2016 safety emission inspection stickers.

He had flown in from the Dominican Republic.

Brown said the stickers hold an estimated total street value of more than $100,000.

Cabral faces a charge of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.

He could serve up to seven years in prison if convicted.
