An NYPD officer has been arrested, accused of having sex with a 16-year-old girl.

Police say Vladimir Sosa is facing several charges, including third-degree rape and sexual abuse, for allegedly having sex with the teen, whom investigators say he met at church.

The 38-year-old was stationed at the 46th Precinct in the Bronx.

Neighbors described Sosa as quiet.

"I didn't hear anything about him," said one neighbor. "He was good. He was a good guy. He would say hi to me every day, whenever he'd go out to work, but I would not think anything of it."

Sosa was arraigned and released on his own recognizance.

He's due back in court April 17.
