The man convicted of murder in the deadly Happy Land Social Club fire was denied parole on Wednesday.

Julio Gonzalez is serving a 25 years to life sentence.

The fire on March 25, 1990 ripped through the club in the West Farms section of the Bronx killing 87 people.

Gonzalez was found guilty of setting the fire shortly after being thrown out of the club for fighting with his former girlfriend.

She was one of only six survivors of the fire.

Gonzalez will be up for parole again in 2017.
