A man suspected of killing a 21-year-old Bronx woman has been arrested nearly 22 years later.

Police say they solved the cold case after DNA of 46-year-old Jonathan Jolivert was matched to the DNA found at the scene.

Jolivert was arrested February 13 and arraigned in Bronx Supreme Court Tuesday.

Investigators say he killed the young mother of his 15-month-old son in her apartment on Morris Avenue on March 24, 1993.

Police say Michelle Page Gilliam was found stabbed in her neck with a kitchen knife.

A scarf was also wrapped around her neck.

Investigators say Jolivert told her he would stop by the apartment to give her child support money.

Jolivert—who faces second-degree murder charges—pleaded not guilty.

The case has been adjourned until June 11.
