Developers have revealed plans to build a $400 million dollar office, academic and medical center in the Bronx.

The 33-acre complex will be built on Waters Place in Morris Park near the planned Metro-North station.

Developers say they expect it to create thousands of permanent jobs and 1,900 construction jobs.

The complex will include a retail plaza and a 150-room hotel, as well as space for education and medical services.

It is being built on surplus state land that was once home to the Bronx Psychiatric Center.

A new condensed campus for the psychiatric center is being built in order to free up excess land for the project.
