If you're planning to use the Mosholu Parkway this weekend, part of it will be closed.

The Department of Transportation says drivers won't have access to the southbound Mosholu Parkway beneath the Major Deegan from 10 p.m. Friday through 8 a.m. Saturday, and again during the same time period Saturday night into Sunday morning.

Work will be done as part of a $28 million project to rehabilitate the Major Deegan Bridge.

Traffic will be diverted either onto the Major Deegan or to Van Cortlandt Avenue.
