New Yorkers are getting a bitter taste of winter again today.

Temperatures were near freezing throughout the day across the five boroughs, but that didn't stop people from enjoying the sights and sounds of the city. We asked some how they're dealing with the cold.

"I got everything that you need, I have scarves and gloves so get prepared well," said one.

"It's nothing special no? It's just the way it is, with gloves so — yeah," said another.

"It's actually nicer here than anywhere else in the northeast," said a third. "So I'm not complaining."

The winter season officially begins on December 21.
