A storm system off to our west kept the five boroughs under the clouds for most of Sunday, but, we did manage to get a few peeks of sunshine during the early morning hours. In addition, conditions remained unseasonably cold as afternoon temperatures only reached the mid 40s. It was the tenth straight day in which afternoon highs were below-normal.

Expect the clouds and unseasonably cold air to remain in place for Monday. Afternoon temperatures will only reach the upper 40s.

Looking ahead, expect a round of showers Tuesday morning with an afternoon high of 44 degrees. Skies then clear-out for Wednesday, but, conditions will turn colder. Temperatures will drop into the upper 30s. Thanksgiving is looking bright and blustery, with a high of just 32 degrees.
