The freeze warning has been lifted, but there a coastal flood advisory for the Bronx and Queens. 

It’s a dry start to the day, but a nor’easter is slated to get underway this afternoon. So, expect a very slick commute. The storm will begin as snow with an icy mix followed by rain. Keep in mind that in addition to the rain gear, you will also need the heavy winter coat. Highs are expected to only top out at 36 degrees by this afternoon.

Temperatures will likely stay in the 30s tonight with rain getting heavy at times. It will be a wet start tomorrow with slick roads and gusty winds to contend with. Then anticipate gradual clearing with a high of 45 degree by the afternoon. Dry weather returns for the weekend with highs in the 40s and overnight temperatures in the 30s. More rain is expected to arrive on Monday with below normal temperatures lasting through Wednesday.
