After three straight days of Spring-like warmth, New Yorkers saw temperatures drop back into the 50s as a storm system made its way through the area early Saturday morning. The storm system dumped more than three inches of rain in parts of the region, and cranked-up winds to over 40mph in some locations.

Sunday is looking drier and less windy, but, temperatures will stay on the cool side with afternoon highs only reaching the mid 50s. In addition, Daylight Savings Time ends Sunday at 2 A.M., so, be sure to push your clocks BACK one hour. Sunrise will be at 6:30 AM, and sunset will be at 4:49 PM.

Looking ahead, expect our next storm system to make its way into the area on Monday. Showers are likely during the afternoon and evening hours, and some heavier rain is possible in some areas. Temperatures will remain in the mid 50s. The threat of wet weather stays in place for Tuesday as another storm system moves through the region. Conditions will warm up quite a bit though, as temperatures rise into the mid 60s. Look for drier conditions on Wednesday and Thursday.
