Saturday began on a gray and damp note in the Big Apple, but, skies did brighten later in the day, and afternoon highs reached the 60s for the fifth time in the last six days.

We'll see more sunshine on Sunday, but, it will be much colder and windier. Afternoon highs will only be around 50 degrees, and we could see wind gusts of over 30mph.

The sunshine will stay in place through the upcoming week, but, temperatures will remain at below-normal levels. Afternoon highs will primarily be in the low to mid 50s. Nighttime temperatures will be quite cold as well, with lows in the 30s and 40s.
