A high pressure system over the area gave the Big Apple a mix of sun and clouds on Sunday, and it was another unseasonably cool day as afternoon highs only reached the 50s for the second straight day. We haven't seen back-to-back days with highs in the 50s since April 29-30.

Look for our next storm system to make its way into the region on Monday. We will not have an all-day rain event, but, showers will occasionally move through the five boroughs, and windy conditions are possible as well. In addition, we could see a line of heavier rain and/or storms move through during the late-evening hours. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60s. Look for conditions to dry-out Monday night.

Skies are looking much brighter for rest of the week, but, temperatures will remain on the cool side. Highs will primarily be in the upper 50s and low 60s.
