Saturday began on a gray and damp note in the Big Apple, but, conditions did dry-out later in the day, and a few peeks of sun were seen as well. However, the big story was that afternoon highs were only in the 50s; We haven't seen that since May 19th.

The sun is likely to peek out again early Sunday, but, a large amount of clouds are expected to mix in by the noon hour. We will remain seasonably cool as well, with temperatures around 60 degrees.

Looking ahead, you can expect our next storm system to make its way into the region on Monday. Showers will develop during the early-morning hours, and some heavier rain is possible towards evening. Highs will be around 65 degrees. Skies are looking much brighter for rest of the week, but, temperatures will remain seasonably cool. Highs will be in the upper 50s and low 60s.
