Most New Yorkers are ready for a change. This summer was hot and wet. There were over 20 days at Central Park where readings made it to 90 or higher. Also, there was lots of rain as this summer was the wettest in 9 years. 53% of our precious weekend days were wet. The Fall equinox arrives Saturday night at 9:54 and temperatures will feel fall like. Look for lows in the 50s and highs in the 60s for the next few days. Despite the start of fall, don't expect the leaves to start changing yet. The peak fall colors don't arrive in NYC until early November
