The Big Apple saw more sunshine and Summer-like conditions on Saturday as temperatures topped the 80-degree mark for the sixth time this month. In addition, the humidity remained low, and winds were on the light side.

More sunshine and low humidity are in store for Father's Day. The Summer-like warmth will remain in place as well, as afternoon temperatures are expected to reach the upper 80s.

Looking ahead, expect some heat and humidity to settle in on Monday. Temperatures will rise into the low 90s. A few showers and storms could bring some temporary relief on Tuesday, but, it will remain very warm and humid with a high of 88. The second half of week looks bright and warm with highs in the low to mid 80s.
