A high pressure system off to our northwest gave the five boroughs sunny and dry weather on Saturday, and temperatures returned back to seasonable levels for the first time in nearly a week.  There was a chill in air at times however, as winds topped 25mph in parts of the area.

More sunshine and seasonably mild temperatures are in store for Sunday, and the winds will be lighter as well.

Looking ahead, temperatures are expected to remain at seasonable levels well into next week. Afternoon highs will be in the 50s and 60s. Conditions are expected to stay on the dry side through Tuesday morning, but, the umbrellas could be needed later in the day. Some heavier rain is possible on Wednesday.
