The gloom continues today as a boundary sits over the northeast. Spotty showers from this morning will tend to lift north and out of the City by midday which should leave us cloudy but mainly dry. Our highs will be in the mid 50s. Another round of showers may arrive late tonight and into early Friday. These showers will be more numerous and linger into a good part of Friday. Despite the showers Friday, we still think we could reach 60 or better during the afternoon with hopes for breaks of sun during the afternoon.

Over the weekend we finally get rid of the gloom and we expect a good deal of sunshine on Saturday. Clouds may return on Sunday as a cold front arrives. Temperatures will be just a few degrees cooler Sunday and into Monday.
