Look for conditions to remain damp and blustery through early Sunday morning. Downpours are possible in parts of the area, and wind gusts may exceed 30mph. Some locations may see winds top 50mph.

The rain is expected to come to an end by mid-to-late morning, and skies will begin to clear-out afterwards. It will remain quite windy however, and temperatures will gradually drop throughout the day as well. Temperatures are likely to be in the low to mid 50s during the early-morning hours, but, we should be down into the low 40s by the evening.

The first half of the upcoming week is looking bright and dry, but, keep those umbrellas on stand-by for Thanksgiving; Showers are possible on 'turkey day', and we may even see a coastal storm make its way into the area. Stay tuned to NY1 for the latest updates.
