Mayor Bill de Blasio says schools will be open Monday and alternate side parking is suspended until Friday.

The mayor gave an update Sunday morning as the city slowly gets back on track following the storm.

Highways and main roads around the five boroughs are clear, but de Blasio says the Sanitation Department needs to do a better job in Queens.

More plows will be sent to the borough to take care of hard hit side streets that haven't been plowed since last night.

"If I'm living in the neighborhoods I mentioned, like the streets I saw in Sunnyside or Woodside, I'm not gonna be happy, I'm not gonna be satisfied this morning," de Blasio said. "But I can tell you this much, give us the rest of this day we're going to make a very big impact on those neighborhoods and help us."

City officials say 25 summonses were issued during the citywide travel ban.
