Looking for an at-home movie night? Well if you don’t subscribe to premium channels or a digital streaming service and you don’t want to pay to rent, did you know as a Time Warner Cable TV subscriber you have access to thousands of free movies and shows?
"When most people think about On Demand they think about extra stuff that they have to pay for. And one of the great features is that you’ve got access to all this free stuff," explains Sumeet Datt, Senior Director of Marketing at Time Warner Cable.
If you want a movie, simply open the On Demand portal on your TV and scroll down to Free Movies. There you will find over 200 movie titles, from classics to movies recently out of theaters.
“There are all sorts of movies available On Demand. Some of them are Sundance movies, some of them are classic Hollywood hits, some of them are blockbusters that you may have seen in the past. There is a great selection," adds Datt.
And before you watch, you can view ratings and reviews right on your screen. If you are looking for a night of binge watching or you want to catch up on your favorite TV show, there are thousands of free show titles to choose from as well.
“You also get free access to full series, seasons of TV shows, kids programming, documentaries. We have almost 18,000 titles that are available to stream On Demand for free," says Datt.
You can also access all these from the TWC TV app or on your computer by signing in with your Time Warner Cable ID.
Titles do rotate so the movie or show you see today may not be available next week.
