GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Gainesville Police Department in Florida is warning women not to call 911 after photos of officers helping during Hurricane Irma caused a social media storm.

The photos went viral and received hundreds of thousands of comments, likes and shares -- all from women discussing the men's attractiveness.

The department issued an update to the post which thanked everyone for their comments saying some of them even “made the chief blush.”

Due to the photos’ popularity, there’s a plan in the works to create a calendar with proceeds benefiting Hurricane Irma recovery.
