The MTA is now rolling back some extra transit options put in place for the so called "Summer of Hell."

Starting this Wednesday, there will no longer be temporary ferry service to and from Long Island City.

Temporary bus service to and from Park and Ride facilities will be reduced as well.

The MTA says the move is a response to travel demands over the first three weeks of months-long track work.

In addition to removing temporary ferry service at Long Island City, the transit agency says there won't be any ferry shuttle from Hunters Point.

Instead, straphangers can use the train at Hunters Point Avenue.

Ferry service to and from Glen Cove will not change.

Meanwhile, temporary bus service will now be running at an hourly rate during morning and evening rush hours.

Buses from each of the five Park and Ride facilities will depart every hour between from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Buses from Penn Station will depart at every hour between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
