Another day of major problems for commuters at Penn Station.
The station was packed with Long Island Rail Road riders unable to get home at the start of the evening rush because of signal problems in the East River tunnels.
Service was limited on some lines, while others were completely shut down.
The delays also spilled over and caused problems for New Jersey Transit, and it created a logjam at Jamaica Station as well.
This is the latest in a recent string of delays and cancellations, and some riders are fed up.
"Ever since the low-speed derailment, they called it low-speed derailment, ever since then, it's been all downhill," said one commuter.
"I'm so happy I'm paying all this money to hang around here just waiting for a train," said another. "This is the most ridiculous. It's every day now."
"Nothing you can do about it," said a third. "How many people in the city? Millions. You're gonna have problems like this all the time."
Amtrak announced it will soon start making badly needed repairs at Penn Station during the work week to help speed things up.
It comes following a series of transit problems at Penn Station, including two recent derailments.
