Signal Problems Halt 7 Train Service During Wednesday Rush

The 7 train is back to normal after service was halted across the entire line during the Wednesday evening rush.

Service was halted for the entirety of the line - between 34th Street-Hudson Yards and Flushing-Main Street - due to signal problems for about an hour, starting just after 5:30 p.m.

The MTA said service was restored with extensive delays at around 6:45 p.m. Wednesday. The agency says service returned to normal later that night.
