It will soon be easier for some bus riders to get across town.
Select Bus Service is coming to the M23 line beginning November 6.
Riders will pay fares from machines on the sidewalks before boarding the bus, and can enter from any door.
The MTA's goal is to cut loading time and speed up service with fewer stops.
The M23 runs between Peter Cooper Village and Chelsea Piers.
It will be the fourth Manhattan route to get Select Bus Service.
