The MTA says Metro-North will return to its regular weekday schedule Friday after crews completed temporary repairs following a Tuesday fire in East Harlem.

Investigators say the fire was sparked by fuel spilling onto a hot generator at the Urban Garden Center.

Firefighters were seen removing propane tanks from the site.

The four-alarm fire caused significant structural damage to the Park Avenue Viaduct near 118th Street.

According to the MTA, six temporary steel columns were installed to brace a column damaged in the fire.

The MTA says the viaduct's four tracks are ready for service after the agency ran structural tests.

The agency warns commuters to expect minor delays, as they say speed restrictions of 30 mph will remain in place.
