L Train Will Not Run Into Manhattan During Some Late Nights, Weekends in Spring

Brooklynites who ride the L train into Manhattan during late nights and weekends will have to find another way to commute in the spring. 

On weekends from April 11 to May 18, the L will only run from Canarsie to Lorimer Street. 

In addition, on weekdays from March 24 to May 22, the L will not cross the East River between midnight and 5 a.m. daily.

During the outages, a shuttle bus will be provided from Lorimer Street to Marcy Avenue, where passengers can take the J and M lines into Manhattan. 

There will also be extra M14 service along 14th Street in Manhattan.
