A Stockton man was arrested after he allegedly strangled someone and threatened to kill the victim with a baseball bat.

Donald Fiebelkorn, 46, went to the victim’s house on Bowers Road in Stockton and strangled the resident there Monday night just before midnight. He then threatened to kill the victim, unplugged the phones in the house to prevent the victim from calling 911 and damaged items inside the house.

Fiebelkorn then stole the victim’s car and drove away.

Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies found Fiebelkorn later, driving the stolen vehicle and intoxicated.

He’s facing charges of menacing, harassment, felony DWI, unauthorized use of a vehicle and driving without a license. Fiebelkorn is being held in Chautauqua County Jail without bail.
