A man has been convicted in a sexual exploitation case involving children.

Clif Seaway, 61, of Granby could face up to 360 years in prison.

He was found guilty of two counts of conspiracy to sexually exploit a child and 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a child in federal court Thursday for the abuse of five minors over the course of 12 years, from 2001 until 2013.

The abuses took place in Oswego, Onondaga and Jefferson counties.

During the case, the jury viewed pictures and videos made by Seaway and heard from one of his victims, who is now an adult.

The jury also heard a recorded confession from Seaway, according to a statement provided by the court.

Also charged in the case were Tammy LaMere, 45, of Fulton and Tammy Martin, 46, of Carthage.

They were accused of engaging in sexual acts with multiple minors and filming the activity.

"Today's conviction is a critical first step toward healing for all of those impacted by the depraved acts perpetrated by this defendant," said Kevin Kelly, Special Agent in Charge of Homeland Security Investigations, Buffalo Division in a statement released Thursday. "HSI will continue to aggressively pursue those who prey on the most vulnerable in society, our children."

Seaway is scheduled to be sentenced in April.
