ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- The Rochester Board of Ethics will meet this week to review a complaint of ethical misconduct by Mayor Lovely Warren.

Democratic mayoral candidate Rachel Barnhart filed the grievance against Warren following an Uber job fair that was held at City Hall in May.

In the ethics complaint, Warren is accused of showing favoritism to her former chief of staff who helped orchestrate the job fair as a well-known lobbyist for Uber. It goes on to list numerous suggestions to improve the ethics board decision making process, including disciplinary action for anyone deemed in violation.

After hearing testimony and reviewing the complaint, the ethics board can make a decision within 30 days. Their findings will then be presented to Rochester City Council.
