Today is the big day — the Carolina Panthers will take on the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl Fifty in Santa Clara, California. Time Warner Cable News has been on the ground in the Bay Area all week and  TWC News' Jenna Barnes is there with more on the fans in town.

In the lobby of their hotel, Lew Rapaport and Larry McDonald take pictures with fans in town for Super Bowl Fifty — and sign autographs.

"Our group is called the Super Bowl Five."

Five friends from New York, Georgia, and Florida who have attended every single Super Bowl.

They say a lot has changed since the first in 1967.

"Tickets went for ten bucks, and today, I think the face value is about $1,200 to $1,300," Rapaport said.

Their group's style is certainly different than it was in the '60s. But their friendship is as strong as it's ever been.

The five say every year when they get together for the big game It's like Christmas.

"There's more one-liners going around than you could ever think about," McDonald said.

And memories are going around too.

"I think the most fun Super Bowl was 1986 when we saw the Chicago Bears and the Super Bowl shuffle," Rapaport said.

Panthers head coach Ron Rivera was a part of that team. And 30 years later, they will be watching him once again.

"He's come full circle," Rapaport said. "I think he's a great coach. I think he's going to win the Super Bowl this year."

The golden year.

"I'm feeling pretty old now, McDonald said. "So, I think it's ok that it's the fiftieth."

Fifty years of football — and this family of five.

"I'm happy to be here still be there for the fiftieth — I'd love to be here for the sixtieth, but I'm not gonna bet on it," Rapaport said,

The Super Bowl Five say they're all in their 80s now — and at Super Bowl 50 they will be guests of the NFL.
