At least two Yankees and one Met were named to the All-Star team Monday.

Yankee first baseman Mark Teixeira, who leads the American League in RBI, was named as a reserve. He will be joined by reliever Dellin Betances.

Outfielder Brett Gardner was not named to the initial roster, but he is one of the five nominees for the final A.L. roster spot that will be voted on by fans.

One of the more notable All-Star snubs was Yankees DH Alex Rodriguez. who was left off the squad despite hitting 17 homers and knocking in 47 runs.

Starting pitcher Jacob deGrom was the only Met selected to the team, but reliever Jeurys Familia is one of the five nominees for the final National League spot.

The All-Star Game is next Tuesday in Cincinnati.
