They've missed the postseason the past two years, but the Yankees are still the most valuable team in baseball.

According to an annual report by Forbes Magazine, the Bombers are worth $3.2 billion. That's up from $2.5 billion last year.

The Yankees have topped the list all 18 years since Forbes began the rankings.

The next most valuable teams are the Dodgers and Red Sox.

The Mets came in seventh at $1.35 billion.

The Tampa Bay Rays are the least valuable at $625 million.

The report says the average major league team is worth $1.2 billion, an increase of 48 percent from last year. That's due mainly to a new national TV deal.
