Lawyers gave closing arguments Tuesday in the bribery case against the former head of the city correction officers' union.

Norman Seabrook is accused of taking a $60,000 kickback in exchange for investing union money in a hedge fund linked to Jona Rechnitz.

Rechnitz became a star witness after testifying that he received special attention from City Hall in exchange for contributing to Mayor Bill de Blasio's efforts to help Democrats win control of the state senate.

The mayor has denied Rechnitz had any influence within City Hall, and called him a liar.

Rechnitz claimed he gave Seabrook the cash in an $800 Ferragamo handbag, which investigators found in Seabrook's home in the Bronx.

They also found stacks of cash, including more than $22,000 in a safe.

Seabrook's attorney is portraying Rechnitz as a racist, after a photo surfaced of him in blackface.
