NY1 will be sponsoring and broadcasting several major debates in this year's races for Mayor, Comptroller, and Public Advocate.
The city's Campaign Finance Board announced Thursday its debate schedule, awarding debates to NY1 and its co-sponsors, WNYC, POLITICO, Citizens Union, Civic Hall, Intelligence Squared, and the Latino Leadership Institute.
In the race for mayor, NY1 will host a Republican primary debate August 16, and a Democratic debate August 23.
Our general election debate will be October 10, with a live audience at Symphony Space on the Upper West Side.
