The Trump administration set new criteria Wednesday for enforcing its travel ban.

Visa applicants and refugees from six Muslim-majority nations are required to have a close family or business tie to the United States.

According to a State Department cable, a close family tie only includes a parent, spouse, sibling, child, or child-in-law.

This comes days after the Supreme Court partially restored President Trump's executive order.

The high court will hear arguments in the case this autumn.

The limited travel ban is expected to take effect Thursday.
