President Donald Trump is pushing new legislation aimed at cracking down on foreign workers.

Trump signed the "Buy American, Hire American" executive order after touring the headquarters of a power tool manufacturer in Wisconsin.

The order overhauls the H-1B visa program, which Trump claims drives down wages by bringing in foreign labor.

"This historic action declares that the policy of our government is to aggressively promote and use American-made goods and to ensure that American labor is hired to do the job," Trump said.

The new executive order also directs federal agencies to use American-made products for transportation and construction projects.
