On the heels of the alleged Russian hacking scandal, President-elect Donald Trump says he will not rely on computers while in office.

Despite his frequent use of Twitter, Trump says he prefers not to leave an electronic trail.

"If you have something really important, write it out and have it delivered by courier, the old fashioned way," Trump told reporters. "Because I'll tell you what: no computer is safe. I don't care what they say: no computer is safe."

Trump celebrated the new year in Florida.

The Queens native has repeatedly dismissed allegations by the FBI and CIA that Russia tried to influence the presidential election through hacking.

He is scheduled to meet with intelligence officials next week.

The president-elect broke protocol Saturday by ditching his pool of reporters to play golf at his course in Jupiter, Florida.
