New York City residents are giving Governor Cuomo a thumbs-up – even if they do not want him running for president.
The NY1-Baruch College City Poll shows that 60 percent of city residents approve of Cuomo’s job performance while just 24 percent disapprove.
When it comes to a possible White House run four years from now, only 38 percent think Cuomo should run while 42 percent say he should not.
In addition, both Cuomo and de Blasio lose out to President Obama when New Yorkers are asked who they’d want to have a holiday dinner with. 53 percent say Obama. 20 percent said President-elect Donald Trump. Only 5 percent say Cuomo, and just 3 percent say de Blasio.
