The vice president-elect is making the rounds in Washington.

Mike Pence met with New York Sen. Charles Schumer, who is also the incoming minority leader.

Pence did not elaborate on their discussion but said he is willing to work with both sides of the aisle.

"I'm very grateful for the leader's hospitality, and we look forward to finding ways that we can find common ground and move the country forward. And I'm very grateful for the open door and look forward to carrying the president-elect's agenda to all of the members of the Senate, all of the members of the House after January 20," Pence said.

Pence also met with House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi. She says the two discussed infrastructure and child care.
