There's yet another curveball that could upend the race for the White House, and this one is tied to former Rep. Anthony Weiner. Josh Robin filed the following report.

Anthony Weiner's behavior is imperiling his marriage. Now, it could do the same to Hillary Clinton's presidential bid.

After calling Clinton's email extremely careless but not criminal, FBI Director James Comey says agents need to take another look.

"The FBI has learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation...I agreed that the FBI should take appropriate investigative steps designed to allow investigators to review these emails to determine whether they contain classified information, as well as to assess their importance to our investigation."

Those emails? Found as authorities look into explicit messages Weiner reportedly exchanged with a 15-year old in North Caroina.

One official says they're not from Clinton's private server.

Weiner's estranged wife is a top Clinton aide.

At a hastily called news conference, Clinton says the brief FBI statement is woefully inadequate with an election about a week and a half away.

"So we don't know the facts, which is why we're calling the FBI to release all the information that it has," Clinton said. "Even Director Comey noted that this new information may not be significant. So let's get it out."

Clinton adds she's not been contacted by the FBI

The news breathed new life into Donald Trump's campaign.

"Hillary Clinton's corruption is on a scale we haven't seen before," he said.

His praise of federal authorities was a reversal of earlier statements suggesting they were part of a rigged system.

"The FBI and the Department of Justice are now willing to have the courage to right the horrible mistake that they made," Trump said.

Weiner did not return a request for comment.

It is unclear if the FBI will say anything more. That means the public will have to trust Clinton, trust Trump or, perhaps, trust neither.
