She may not have been brought peace to Libya as Secretary of State but Hillary Clinton yesterday at least managed to get Andrew Cuomo and  Bill de Blasio to hug.

At a rally at a convention center that was named for a late Republican U.S. Senator, Clinton took a victory lap after her strong string of Super Tuesday victories.

The Javits Center event was a sort-of welcome home to Clinton who seems to have corrected the course of her campaign in which some of her veteran supporters just weeks ago were nervously flashing back to 2008 after they were swamped by Bernie Sanders in New Hampshire.

Although it's clear Clinton still has some primary work cut out for her, the septuagenarian genie appears to be shoved back into his bottle. She even managed to have time to talk to the former manager of her Senate campaign, Mayor de Blasio.

While the candidate finally deigned to talk with the mayor who dissed her for months by not endorsing her, she seemed happier in the company of City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito.

But it was Cuomo who almost stole the show. Channeling his inner Mario, Cuomo reminded listeners that when he wants to stretch his vocal cords and actually stand up and speak, he can deliver. And he also witheringly mocked a  New Yorker who most certainly was not in the room – Donald Trump.

Like de Blasio, Cuomo's been given a cold shoulder from Clinton, who avoided even shaking his hand at the state fair near Syracuse when he unsuccessfully ran for governor in 2002.

But past trespasses were all forgiven and it was one big (sort of) happy family yesterday as the mayor and Governor briefly embraced as they all concentrated on building another firewall for Clinton in the state's primary next month. Meanwhile, let speculation begin about Andrew Cuomo getting a chance to follow in  Mario's footsteps as the keynote speaker at a certain convention in Philadelphia this summer.
