"Once Upon A One More Time" on Broadway

Get ready to experience an enchanting fairytale world set to the music of pop princess Britney Spears.

"Once Upon A One More Time" is a musical that shines a spotlight on Cinderella, Snow White and The Little Mermaid like you’ve never seen them before.

It begins previews at The Marquis Theatre on Saturday night. You will hear all your favorite Britney songs like “Hit Me Baby One More Time,” “Crazy,” "Circus" and more.

The opening is set for June 22.

"The Fears" at The Pershing Square Signature

On the off-Broadway scene, the new play "The Fears" is currently in previews.

The show, which is being co-produced by Academy Award winner Steven Soderbergh, is set at a Buddhist Center in New York City that is a refuge for a vibrant and eclectic community of individuals.

The play features Maddie Corman and Carl Hendrick Louis. “The Fears” is now playing at The Pershing Square Signature – opening night is on May 18.

“Don Giovanni” at The Met Opera

Over at The Metropolitan Opera, Tony Award winning director Ivo van Hove is making his Met debut and putting his stamp on the classic Mozart tragicomedy “Don Giovanni.” 

His production is set against the backdrop of an abstract architectural realm. Baritone Peter Mattei takes on the title character.

“Don Giovanni” is playing now through June 2.

"Classics Gone Mad!" at Classic Stage Company

On Monday night, it is “Classics Gone Mad” — a benefit for Classic Stage Company. 

Classics Gone Mad!" invites beloved New York City artists to reimagine Shakespeare's text and with that you can expect a night brimming with Bard-inspired tunes, acts and all around fun.

The event is being directed by Cara Akselrad and Eric Ulloa and is being hosted by RuPaul Drag Race superstar Rose.

The show will feature appearances by Celia Keenan-Bolger, Nikki M. James, Linedy Genao, Julie Halston, Jay Armstrong Johnson.

Farah Alvin at The Green Room 42

And finally, songstress Farah Alvin returns to The Green Room 42 on May 19 in celebration of her new album “On Vinyl.”

The show is directed by Marc Tumminelli and will feature songs from Alvin’s youth — including tunes made famous by Elton John, Joni Mitchell, Queen, Stevie Wonder and more.
