Looking to take in a show but overwhelmed by the amount of choices? Look no further. "On Stage" host Frank DiLella will be curating a list of “must-see” shows every week, directing you to the best of Broadway, off-Broadway and beyond. Here's his picks for this week.

‘MJ: The Musical’

The company of the hit show celebrated their one-year anniversary on Broadway this past Wednesday.

The show stars Tony winner Myles Frost as the main Michael Jackson.

‘The Wanderers’

On the off-Broadway front, the New York premiere of “The Wanderers” is currently in previews at The Laura Pels Theatre.

The show features television and film star Katie Holmes.

‘Classic Whitney: The Season of Love Show’

Broadway performer Kevin Smith Kirkwood is channeling the late pop diva Whitney Houston in his latest act “Classic Whitney: The Season of Love Show.”

Expect to hear all your favorite Whitney Houston tunes sung live. The show is playing at Joe’s Pub on Tuesday, Feb. 7.

Jackie Hoffman at Joe’s Pub

On Wednesday night, Broadway’s cranky comedienne Jackie Hoffman returns to the stage with her act, “It’s Over. Who Has Weed?”

According to Hoffman’s press notes, her solo shows are where “she gets a chance to swipe back at the man and say what she can’t say in her legitimate jobs.” And just you wait for her swipe at Jessica Lange.

Her show dates are Feb. 8, 17 and 18 at Joe’s Pub.

Melissa Errico at Birdland Jazz Club

Melissa Errico returns to Birdland Jazz Club with her show, A Noir Romance, which was inspired by her new album, “Out Of The Dark: The Film Noir Project.”

Errico’s eight-show engagement is at Birdland Feb. 10 through the 14.

Heather Headley at Carnegie Hall

Finally, Tony winning powerhouse Heather Headley returns to Carnegie Hall with The New York Pops on Friday, Feb. 10.

Headley will revisit moments she created on stage such as music from “Aida,” The Lion King,” “The Bodyguard” and more.
