Some major musical theater talent performed a one-night-only benefit concert for the LGBT community in Orlando.

NY1 got an exclusive look at rehearsal for the concert "From Broadway with Love" just before they took the stage.

The sold-out show was organized in response to last month's terror attack that left 49 people dead.

More than a dozen theatre stars took the stage, along with the Orlando Philharmonic and a choir of more than 100 local singers.

Some of the actors had a chance to stop by the Pulse Nightclub, where the attack took place.

"As sad as it is, I was overwhelmed by how much love is there, and the love for these people, the love for this community, the love for the world that we are in and the hope that things will get better," said actor Brian Stokes Mitchell.

"What rang true from that was the hope that was there. There wasn't a lot of anger or hatred. Of course there was heartbreak, but there was, 'Can we use this as a way to go up and be better?' And that's what I hope tonight is too," said actor Kelli O'Hara.

This is the second of two straight days of benefit concerts in Orlando. The cast of "Fun Home" performed a concert version of the Tony-winning show on Sunday and raised more than $100,000.
