Jamie Stelter joined NY1 as the news channel’s first traffic reporter in July of 2010.
She previously worked as a fill-in traffic reporter for WNBC 4 New York. She was also the traffic and feature reporter at WTXF-Fox 29 in Philadelphia where she had two weekly segments, in addition to covering traffic on the morning and evening newscasts.
Prior to Fox 29, Stelter reported traffic all over the tri-state area – for News 12 Traffic & Weather, News 12 New Jersey, and CBS 3 in Philadelphia. She also flew above the New York City area, covering traffic and breaking news inside Air 11 at WPIX 11 and Chopper 2 at WCBS New York.
She is a graduate of the University of Maryland.
