A chronic dumping situation has one Queens homeowner pleading with her neighbors to clean up. Susan Jhun filed the following NY1 for You report.

A littered lot in Springfield Gardens has become a big burden to neighboring homeowner Daisy Waddy.

"They keep dumping stuff between my fence and their fence. They're tearing up my property," Waddy says.

In particular, Waddy's fence, which she says is falling apart under the weight of the trash piling up against it.

"The stuff they're dumping is just seeping over to my property and doing damage to my property," Waddy says.

Waddy says the garbage has been accumulating since 2013, and her repeated requests to the neighboring restaurant to clean it up have gone unanswered.

After the frustrated homeowner called us, we contacted Seafood Delite Restaurant, and the owner agreed to clean up the mess. A week later, he had the debris removed from Waddy's fence.

Now, she says although the mess has moved off from her property, it's still in sight, and she worries it may return. We spoke to the owner of the restaurant once again, and he has promised to clean it up.

We will continue to follow this messy situation.
