ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Tonight will have mostly cloudy skies with a few showers coming in from the Gulf.

  • Few showers overnight
  • Temps will be in the upper 60s, low 70s
  • Next cold front moves in Tuesday night

Dew points are still moving up, so expect a warm night. Rain chances will be higher for Citrus County. A thunderstorm is possible there. Lows will be in the upper 60s north to low 70s for Tampa. Fog or low clouds will form.

Sunday will feature partly sunny skies with again a chance for some scattered showers. Highs will be in the low 80s with a southerly breeze.  It will be muggy as dew points make it into the 70s.

Monday will feature mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers in the area. Highs will still be in the low 80s with muggy conditions. It will be breezy.

Tuesday will be the day the next cold front moves through the area. There will be showers and storms with the front followed by the next blast of cooler air Tuesday night. Highs will be in the mid-70s Tuesday, followed by dropping temperatures Tuesday night.

The rain will exit and skies will clear with lows dropping to the 40s Wednesday morning. Wednesday will be mostly sunny but cool with highs in the low 60s. Wednesday night will be cold with lows in the 30s and 40s.

Thursday will be mostly sunny with highs in the 60s.

Friday will warm up some, but will still end up below normal.
